The Five-Star School of the Hampton Heights Neighborhood that “Significantly Exceeds Expectations”
Servant Leadership
- Every class, every interaction, every day is about the Gospel and the Great Commission.
- Every student engages in activities to serve in the classroom, in the school, and in the community.
Neighborhood Church
- Mount Lebanon Church and School have been a stronghold for more than 90 years in the Hampton Heights neighborhood.
- The Gospel works! Each year on average, 25 souls are baptized through the outreach efforts of the church and school.
Our Teachers
- Mount Lebanon teachers create individual “student success plans,” detailing goals, milestones, and a path for achievement.
- Our teachers put in the extra hours to extend the school day and support each student from sun up to sun down.
- Mount Lebanon teachers are life-long learners. More than 50% of our teachers and pastors have a master’s degree.
Academic Results
- We have a firm belief that every student can succeed no matter where they start.
- On average each school year, a Mount Lebanon student grows nearly 1 ½ years in math and reading.
- Mount Lebanon has been THE Five-Star School of Hampton Heights for four straight years!
Community School
- We specifically want to serve students who live in the Hampton Heights neighborhood.
- We collaborate with our parents and the community about our programming to ensure we’re meeting their needs.
Our Programs
- We believe in a whole child, individualized approach to education that allows each student to discover his or her unique, God-given gifts.
- We have a full-time special needs department.
- We have a full-time school pastor and school counselor to provide emotional, social, and spiritual support.
- We offer art, music, sports, and electives like cooking, financial planning, and foreign language.
- We provide safe and affordable before school care and robust afterschool programming.
- We seek to get better (not bigger) and have a 9:1 student to teacher ratio.
